Watercolour was fully cleaned and repaired, conservation mounted with gold slip and set into a fully renovated 19th Century frame.
I undertake cleaning and restoration of antique frames using traditional techniques and materials, including gesso composition work, gilding, waxes and stains. Wherever possible, I will preserve all the characteristics of your old frame to achieve as close an invisible restoration as is practicable.
